Need some favorites, one or two campsites on Cherokee.  Don't need a lot of tentpads.  Usually prefer open sites with a Southern exposure.  Any ideas?

Thanks in advance.

I've never been to Cherokee myself. There are 4 ratings in the database, but I don't know if any of the site descriptions match what you are looking for. Hopefully someone else can help you, but if not, go exploring - and make sure to rate the campsites after your trip!

The campsite that I like the best is #894. Has a good sandy landing with a nice tent pad. The west side of Cherokee tends to have more rocky tent pads. This is not your southern exposure but a nice campsite.

I see you added a lot of campsite and portage ratings along with a few photos. I hope your trip went well. I love to hear more about it!
