Unfortunately, it happens all too often and is preventable. https://www.mprnews.org/story/2021/07/20/colorado-man-drowns-when-storm-capsizes-canoe-in-minnesota Please wear your PFD at all times! Even if it is sunny and calm. You do not know when you will hit your head, have a heart attack, or be incapacited in some manner. If you are on a trip with me, you must wear your life jacket. I do not care how good of a swimmer (you think) you are. Stuff happens.
