Snowshoed in to scout a couple of potential paddling destinations in the Northern Highland American Legion State Forest. Little John Lake only has a few properties tucked away in a corner but is a little close to the highway. Allequash has a shallow, weedy south bay that was kind of a haul to get into. We had nice weather and fun perch!
