This is the best campsite on Kawasachong Lake, though I would still rate it as average compared to other lakes.
The landing is a flat rock and is very easy to use. The kitchen area is mostly open with minimal shade, though a large birch tree provides substantial shade for one of the main tent pads and some shade at certain times of day near the kitchen.
I found three good tent pads. One is excellent - large, flat, grassy, and shaded by the birch. The other two are decent but have some roots and rocks. You could fit additional tents if needed, but quality drops beyond the main pads.

Ok site for a stopover. Nice landing. Ok swimming. Some shade. On a peninsula so bugs were not overwhelming.

This is definitely the best campsite on this lake. The area has a lot of burn damage, so most of the other campsites are closed. The only other open one was smaller.
