Great elevated site! The kitchen area is the gem of this site. Several tent pads back in the woods behind kitchen area. The landing is ok at best but that is really the only downside of this site. Didn't have much luck fishing from this site but did pretty good once out on the lake.

The main drawback of this campsite is the landing, which is rocky and difficult. Beyond that, this is an amazing site.
The campsite has excellent views and benefits from shade and a breeze moving through it, which should help with bugs. The layout is open, allowing room to move around and take in the surroundings.
I found three very large, flat tent pads with deep enough soil to accommodate tent stakes. There is also space for a fourth tent that is not quite as level.

Excellent site for small or large groups. Expansive open fire pit gathering area with exposed rocks sloping towaters edge; perfect for fish cleaning, kitchen prep, and general gear stowage. High perch overlook of water's edge with plenty of shore casting area. Explore the back side of the island for firewood or paddle to adjacent islands for downed pines. Walleye bite was slow this time, but the northern's were aggressive all day, every day. Northerns: tolling fast with original rapala f-11 to f-13 tiger fire. Smallies: white paddle tail with big eye jig heads. Walleye: trolling slow original rapala f-11 yellow perch.

Can accommodate larger group. Good combo of shade/sun with a rocky slope down to the water that's good for wind and drying out gear. Most importantly, drop a line 15 ft out, 7ft down with a leech/crawler, and you'll be eating nothing but walleye for days. Best bites at sunset.
