This campsite is located on a point in the southeast part of Phoebe Lake and feels fairly isolated. It sits in an open stand of jack pines and has an excellent view of the lake. I found one very good tent pad and a second smaller but still usable pad. There is a third possible tent area, though it is not ideal. The site also has an excellent hammocking area with well-spaced trees. The landing would be excellent on the south or southeast side of the point, but a fallen jack pine blocks most of that access. I had to lift my canoe over rocks to get into the landing. If that tree were removed, the landing would be much easier.
