It's a scrubby site and doesn't win for its looks or creature comforts, but our group of 9 made it fit somehow. We had 2 large tents (4-man domes) and 2 solo tents. That's definitely the max amount you could fit here, but if you just did the portage into Thumb from Beartrack after a long day, you may appreciate knowing that this site can be quite workable.

The campsite is on a point near the portage. Landing is a sloping rock. Kind of a marshy view and area. I think there was one good tent pad on or near a mossy rock.
