This is a great campsite and one I really liked.
There is a sand beach out front, and the site is protected from the wind by a line of trees between the beach and the fire grate. Once past that line of trees, the campsite opens up nicely in the woods.
I found three good tent pads and a fourth possible pad. Seating around the fire grate could be improved, but it is adequate. The combination of the sand beach and the open layout makes this one of the better sites on Malberg Lake.

Stopped here for a lunch break. Very nice sandy beach. Excellent landing. On a point that you can access from campsite. I'd definitely stay on this site.

Nice site with a sand beach. Great wooded area around the fire pit with ample room for tents and rainfly. Shallow sandy shore around site probably isn't the best for shore fishing. The portage is within view from this site.

A sandy landing, much shade from white cedars and pines with a few hammock options, a little shoreline to walk on, good latrine area behind a 7' boulder (A moose trudged through behind the latrine).

Secluded site. Nice jumping off point for interior lakes.
