The landing here is very poor. The shoreline is rocky with no clear place to land a canoe, and every option required careful footing. The campsite sits on a ledge roughly eight feet above the water and has an excellent view down Amber Lake. I found two tent pads that could be used, though both would likely have issues with tent stakes due to shallow soil. One pad is better than the other, but neither is ideal. The site is surrounded by white pines, which add to the overall setting.
