For a remote lake, this campsite is top notch. The kitchen is elevated roughly ten to fifteen feet above the water and has excellent views both up and down the lake. Jack pines provide some shade in the kitchen area.
I found two usable tent pads. One is larger but appears to have shallow soil, so staking may be difficult. The second is smaller and sits directly behind the kitchen. There is a third possible spot, but it is rooty and uneven.
The landing is decent. I found two options close together: a narrow flat rock that I could pull up on and a sloping rock where I could parallel park and unload.

A bit of a hike up to a gorgeous, well-kept fire grate area with a commanding view of the lake. Jack pine, balsam, and spruce dominates this lake and that made for slightly difficult hammock options, but I happily made do and was comfortable. Gigantic tent pad/kitchen area with a great table rock back behind the fire grate area. There were moose plums on the path to the latrine. I did swim off the landing of this site and it was great for that, too. Overall this was the favorite site of my whole trip, considering the seclusion of Trail Lake and the marvelous view.

Sits high above the lake with good views of the lake. Kitchen area is decent. When we were there, we noticed several pines that had recently been cut down and were just left lying there. It was disappointing to see.

Very nice site high on a bluff overlooking the lake. Great view. Use the access with the logs to go up to the site rather than the more visible, rocky path up.
