Must have had recent work done due to trees having been cut down with stumps still exposed and trees literally laying in the site. To be honest, it took away from the serenity of the that sites experience. Good bear hang though with some friendly chipmunks that were clearly used to receiving food from campers.

Smallest of the 3 sites around this area. The pit is slightly elevated and open to the river. Pretty close to the island site, but still nice. Would not hesitate staying here.

We loved this spot! Good level tent spots. Lots of space. Plenty of wood to be cut for firewood. Latrine is uphill a bit, but clean (as clean as one gets) and didn't smell.
Had about 3 turtles visiting fairly frequently. 2 snappers. I would guess people are feeding them. They appeared to be begging for food. We caught quite a few nice pike near here. Kids could jump in the canoes and paddle near camp and catch fish easily.
2 other sites close and you can hear people when they are occupied, but not a noisy spot at all.
