The landing at this campsite is a little awkward. There is a raised rock shelf that is just high enough to make getting out of the canoe onto shore uncomfortable. If you are willing to step into the water and unload from there, it would not be bad, but dry-footing directly onto shore is awkward. Once the canoes are out of the water, there is a small place to store them.
The campsite itself is a long grassy strip on top of a rock shelf, raised about four or five feet above the water. The fire grate sits near the edge, close to the lake, with a large grassy area behind it. The grassy area is about 75 feet long along shore and about 40 feet deep, so there is plenty of space.
I found three good tent pads and four maximum tent pads. The pads may be a little lumpy because the grass itself is lumpy, but they should still work. The site is exposed and does not have much shade, so it is a pretty basic open grassy campsite.

I agree the landing is bad and that this site is exposed. We camped here on a very nice day and the breeze was great for keeping the bugs at bay. The view to the east at sunset is pretty cool.

Large area for tents, etc. site not very suitable for hammocks. Very poor landing area for canoes.

Good kitchen area, tent pads, grassy area, poor landing area (had to lift canoes up rocky ledge to store for night). Nice shade but marginal wind protection.
