This campsite is wooded and sheltered on all sides. The landing is pretty good, with a smooth sloping rock where I was able to pull up alongside and unload my gear. The slope is just enough that it could be slippery, especially when wet, so I would be careful there.
There is enough canoe storage down by the landing, and that area could also work as a small front porch where you could look out at the lake or maybe set up a chair, tent, or hammock. From the landing, you walk up a few built-in steps to the kitchen, which sits about 10 feet above the lake but is set well back in the woods. The site is surrounded mostly by spruce, with some birch, one white pine closer to the landing, and a jack pine mixed in. It would be a good sheltered site if you needed protection from wind or weather.
The best tent pad is down a short trail behind the kitchen. It is level, though a little rocky, and should work fine with a sleeping pad.
There is another smaller tent pad in the main camp area that is okay, and a third possible spot near the start of the latrine trail that is rocky and lumpy but usable if needed.

This site has better tent sites than that one just to the north and is well isolated from the other sites on the lake. Good hammock options. West facing provided a sufficient breeze to keep off the bugs and enjoy the sunset. Good set-up around the campfire and sufficient firewood. We didn't do well with fishing but was likely our capabilities. Nice day trip through Frazier and the chain of lakes to the NE.

Though it appears dark and densely forested from the water, this site has plenty going for it. A few nice tent pads and a comfortable camp kitchen stay sheltered from the weather and neighbors.
