This campsite is a large open space on top of a rock hill. Most of the campsite sits on a rock ledge about four feet above the lower area, and the kitchen is probably about 10 feet above the water with an excellent view of this end of Thomas Lake.
The best landing is tucked back in the corner of the bay, where there is a small gravel area and plenty of room for canoe storage. From there, it is a short climb up to the kitchen.
Down below the hill, on the side opposite the landing, there is a grassy area where most of the tents would go. There are two good tent pads there, and a third tent could probably fit in that same area if needed. There is also another grassy spot behind the kitchen, but it is a little rocky and rooty, so I would not call it a good pad.
There are a couple of red pines and a big white pine near the tent pad area, while the kitchen area has mostly spruce and some brush. This site has great views and should get enough breeze to help keep bugs down.

Landing is on the east side of the big rock out front. Better site for tents than hammocks but its manageable. Very sheltered from anything but a south east or south breeze, great place to watch a sunset and the amenities were all as they should be.

Decent site, open and fewer trees for hammocks. Spent 1 night here and moved on.

Nice big site that is up over the water with a stone entrance.

Nice landing area and a wide open grassy area for multiple tents on a lower level. The upper level has the fire grate and another tent pad option back in the woods.
