This is another campsite set out on a bare rock peninsula with very little shade around the kitchen area, but I thought it was a little nicer than some of the other similar sites on Ensign. The big advantage is the elevation. It sits higher than the other bare rock peninsula sites I had visited, so the view of the lake is better.
The landing is about average. It is not the easiest and not the hardest, but you do have to climb from the landing area up to the main campsite.
There are two nice, flat tent pads right in camp, plus another one a little ways down the latrine trail, giving it three good tent pads and three maximum tent pads. The latrine trail is very long. I paced it at about 145 yards, which is roughly twice as long as a typical latrine trail, and parts of it are rocky, so that is something to keep in mind. This is a good option if you like elevated rock views, but it is exposed and the long latrine trail is a drawback.

Nice site with 2 good tent pads right at the top. 2 other separate locations where you could put 2 other tents that are down the trail towards the latrine. Nice trails on this one that lead to bay on the west end. Nice views of the lake from both sides
