I really liked this campsite. The landing is somewhat steep and slippery in the main spot that appears to be used most often, and I did not fully trust myself getting out there. I ended up landing in shallower water and getting my feet wet. There are a couple of possible landing spots, including a one-foot rock shelf in front of the kitchen that could work, though it may be a little high and awkward.
The fire grate is close to the water and raised about four or five feet above the lake, with a nice open view to the north. A jack pine gives the kitchen some shade, and behind the kitchen there is a fairly open area with tenting options.
I found three good tent pads: one right behind the kitchen, another farther back past the kitchen, and a third down a trail to the east. That eastern pad may be hard to stake because it appears to sit on shallow soil over rock, but it is smooth and flat.
I found a few other possible tent spots if needed, bringing the maximum to six. The site has a lot of jack pines around the kitchen, along with spruce, balsam, a few white pines, and other younger trees. There is also a trail to the west that appears to connect with the winter-use trail, so I would be careful not to mistake that for a portage. Down that way, there is a nice shaded rock area with a view where you could set up chairs or maybe hammocks.

Not great by any means. Last resort during a downpour. Wouldn't recommend. However, there is a nice brook you can see if you walk down the winter trail. DO NOT use it as a portage, you'll regret it.
