This is a great campsite with a good view and nice tenting. The best landing I found was all the way to the east side of the site. There are several places where people appear to land canoes, but the eastern landing is the easiest, with a grassy area where you can pull up and get out. It was muddy when I visited, so that may be something to watch, but it still seemed like the best option. There are also several smaller rocky pull-in spots that are more difficult to use.
The kitchen sits up on rock that slopes down toward the water and has a very nice view to the south and east. Right off the kitchen, the rock drops three or four feet down to the tent pad area, so there is a noticeable step down from the kitchen to the grassy tenting area.
The tent pads are on flat grass behind that drop-off. There are three good tent pads near the kitchen, and they are spread out enough that each one feels like its own space. I also found room for three other tents, including a couple tighter options in the grassy area and one flat rock beyond the eastern landing where a tent could go if you used rocks instead of stakes. Around the site there are lots of jack pines, a few cedars, one red pine, and some spruce, giving the campsite a nice Boundary Waters feel.

Great campsite. Fire pit was not great to gather around, though it had a beautiful view of the lake. Landing was okay, a little muddy earlier season.

Preferred over campsite directly south. Has a better southern lake view. Not great share around firepit, but quality tent pads

Pretty good site with a nice landing and kitchen area on an exposed rock. When we stayed here it was a high water level year and most of the site was flooded or saturated making it difficult to put 3 tents but we made it work. We did manage to catch some walleye on vera but nothing from camp.

Rained our entire stayed but this was a great site nonetheless. The view alone on the elevated site made it worth the stopover. Flat rock surface at landing was very slippery so careful. Grate placed at top with great views of everything. Chipmunk alert!

Great site. A very good landing to get your canoes unloaded. Kitchen area works well and grassy spots to pitch a tent.

Good site. Sunny, exposed rock outcrop with good landing and commanding view of Vera lake. Tent site is flat and grassy. Good swimming opportunities off the rock ledge this camp is situated on. Beautiful sumac lit up in the Fall all around the site.
