We got lucky with this one back on 7/21/2020. We kept paddling on a very cold, rainy day, hoping to find a nice camp site, and this was one of our last hopes. We got in with time to hang up everything to dry before sunset (which was spectacular—see pictures). The site has multiple levels with room for several tents plus hammocks. The highlight is definitely the kitchen with the rock counter-top (there's no other way to describe it), a nice table, and wrap-around rock benches. We had to move on the next day, otherwise I would have enjoy relaxing another day here. Update in 2025: There are several downed trees very close to one of the tent pads. Watch out for widowmakers. On the other hand, firewood won't be a problem for a long time. We confirmed our recollection that it would not be a great site for swimming/bathing, with large rocks on two sides, and a rocky landing. Everything else about the site is great! There was no mess or trash at the site this year.

A great landing on the north side and great rocks for stunning on the south side. Unfortunately, it seems motor boats have visited here illegally. Burned fish skins and liquid food waste were all over the cooking and seating surfaces, in addition to trash in various locations. I did what I could; hopefully a few others will chip in on the cleanup and the site will be back in good condition soon.
