This campsite has a nice view from the top of a fairly high cliff face. There are trees around the site, but there is a narrow opening toward the lake that gives an excellent view both up and down Moose.
The landing was okay in high water, and it looks like there may be a nice gravel landing at normal water levels where canoes or boats could be parked. From the landing, there is a steep walk up to the site over loose rock, so that is something to keep in mind, but it should be manageable for most people.
The best tenting area is a very large, flat, level pad that could fit two tents. There is another possible tent spot, but it is more slanted and rocky, so I would only use it if needed.
Overall, I liked this one much better than the nearby site 1308. It has some wind protection from the trees while still giving a strong elevated view of the lake.

Site well above Moose Lake, with a great rocky ledge with a view to the southwest.
The west-facing landing is a rock slab subject to waves, but just around the corner is a little south-facing pea-gravel landing that worked well. The climb up to the kitchen is pretty steep.
There is only one decent tentsite, and even that one has its share of rocks and roots and wasn't perfectly flat. It is behind the kitchen and a bit protected from the prevalent westerly winds. I ended up cooking on a rock in that area to minimize the breeze on our butane stove.
I used a tree near the entrance to the kitchen for our bear bag that was decent but not perfect.
We ate dinner and sipped maple whiskey once the wind died near sunset.
The paddle back to the Moose Lake Entry Point the next morning took us less than an hour, though you do have to be aware of wakes from motorized boats moving at speed.
