This was one of the weaker campsites I visited in the area. The main upside is that it is set back from the typical motorboat route, so while you may still see or hear boats in the distance, they are not passing right in front of camp.
The landing was somewhat difficult. It was not the worst landing I have used, but there was not a good pull-up spot, and I ended up tying my canoe to a tree instead.
The fire grate is very sheltered, but there is very little view of the lake, and once the leaves are fully in, I do not think there would be much lake view at all from the campsite. Surprisingly, there are two good grassy, flat, slightly elevated tent pads, which is probably the best feature of the site. I would not try to fit a larger group here, though. The site looks lightly used, has limited seating, and would probably be buggy during bug season because it is so protected and back in the woods. It might work better in the shoulder seasons if wind or cold are the main concerns.
