Unless the water was another foot higher, this is a pretty bad take-out, with tricky stones to negotiate, and vegetation that wants to grab straps and loops. After negotiating the rocks, you'll be faced with hauling all the gear up this steep slope to the campsite. The kitchen is nice enough, with large rock shelves and some seating. Clearly folks are planning to make more seating in the future with the recently cut-down pine next to the kitchen. Most of the site is sloped, and open to the top. You could easily fit 3 tents in one of the open areas. It's not entirely level, but it would probably be comfortable enough. The view is blocked in all directions, however. The surrounding trees are sparse enough to cut down on winds, but wouldn't provide much protection from rain. The winds have twisted many of the trees into fascinating shapes. The take-out is a little further to the south than is marked on the map.
