This is a great campsite and was the nicest one I had seen so far on Moose and Newfound. The landing is excellent, with what feels like a canoe parking garage: an inlet leading into a sandy beach area where it is very easy to park the canoe.
The kitchen and fire grate are out on a peninsula with an amazing view of Newfound Lake. Since this is a motorized lake, you should expect to see motors passing by, but the view is still excellent.
There are plenty of tent pads back behind the kitchen, including several mostly flat and level spots, with room for a larger group if needed. On the north side of the peninsula there is another place where people appear to pull up canoes or fish, though it is not as nice as the main landing. The site is popular and shows signs of heavy use.
The biggest downside I noticed was that the birch trees around the campsite had been stripped, which will likely kill those trees. Even with that damage, this is a spacious, scenic, very functional campsite.

Awesome site with plenty of tent space and a nice sandy landing. Few trees for hanging a food pack.

Great site. Ended up on it because every other site up to this was either occupied or looked sad. Only complaint was that there was not much for hanging hammocks in kitchen area (we managed to find a couple trees) and hanging food bag too some creativity. There were multiple fishing spots and firewood was plentiful. View was great from kitchen area, which had good seating. Sandy landing. Worse part was that it was on Moose and boat traffic was annoying. It was our last night and we wanted a short paddle exit morning. The motors just reminded us that the trip was over earlier than we wished.
