This is an interesting campsite that is better than it first appears, but it has one very unusual drawback: the latrine is right in the middle of the tent pad area. It is very close to a couple of the good tent pads, and no matter where you put a tent, you are probably going to be within view of it.
The landing is pretty decent, with a pull-in spot and a couple of pointy rocks to maneuver around. The kitchen area does not look like much at first.
It is a small clearing with a narrow window out toward the south side of the lake, and there are not really any tent spots right by the kitchen. The site is mostly protected, with cedars around the kitchen and some spruce mixed in.
The tent pads are down short trails to the left and right of the kitchen. The best tent pad is large, flat, shaded, and tucked among cedar trees, but it is also the closest to the latrine.
There are two other good tent pads nearby, and several possible backup spots if you really need them. Functionally, the site has decent tenting and shelter, but the latrine placement is hard to ignore.
