This campsite is mostly sheltered and sits on top of about an eight-foot ledge. It is a short walk from the landing up to the campsite. There are trees lining the shore in front of the fire grate, so the site is somewhat sheltered. The main campsite area is a very large open rectangle, about 50 feet by 20 feet. The fire grate is on one side closest to the landing, and the rest of the area can be used for tent pads or lounging. There are probably two good tent pads in the main open area. There is another good tent pad behind the fire grate, reached by a short trail to a small clearing. I also found a couple more places where tents could go if I followed the latrine trail a little ways.

Not the best canoe landing. A short but steep climb up to firegrate area. Lots of room to move and for tents. Has a good view.
