This campsite is in a burn area, though the fire must not have been intense enough to kill all the large trees. Many of the bigger red and white pines are still standing and alive, while the area behind the site is very open with brush and scattered trees.
The campsite itself sits on open rock with some cedars offering a little shelter. A west wind might be somewhat blocked, but an east wind would probably come right through the site.
The landing was okay, with a couple of possible places to come in. The campsite itself is fairly small, especially the area where you can set up tents and use the kitchen.
There is one good tent pad, maybe two, and three maximum tent pads. The best and flattest tent pad may be on top of rock, so I would question how well stakes would hold. Another possible tent spot is a little lumpy, and a third could be squeezed in if needed. Because the area behind the site is so open, the latrine is nearly visible from camp, though there is enough brush to provide some screening. From the latrine you actually get a lake view, which also means people on the lake might get a view back if they are looking at the wrong moment.

OK site - smaller trees. Pretty hot in the sun.
