This is a small, lightly used campsite. The landing is okay if you are willing to wet foot, but there is not much room to pull the canoe up.
From the landing, the kitchen is up a short gravel path. In front of the kitchen, the ground is basically a gravel slope with cedar trees screening the lake. There is a pretty nice view from the kitchen through the cedars, but there was not really any seating when I visited because the logs had rotted. Moss was growing in the fire grate, so the site does not appear to get much use.
There is one tent pad that I would call good, though even that is not great. You might be able to fit two other tents if you are desperate, but those spots are rocky, lumpy, and uneven.
Overall, this is a small site and not one I would choose for a longer base camp. It would work for a night if needed. The site has a lot of cedar trees near the shore, with a few tall red pines and some young white pines mixed in.
