This site was a little hard to find because it was mismarked on the map. The landing looks pretty decent, and there is a cedar tree leaning almost parallel to the water that helps mark the entrance.
From the landing, there is a short climb up to the main site, with a place to store canoes before heading up. The campsite sits about 10 feet above the water.
The fire grate is on top of a rounded rock, with the seating set a ways away and a few feet lower, so the kitchen layout is a little awkward. There are four good tent pads and five maximum tent pads. Two large grassy pads are right near the kitchen area and sit next to each other. Two more good tent pads are down a small trail to the west, giving them a little more separation. One of the good pads is a little uneven, but it should still work fine. The site is sheltered and screened by trees, mostly spruce and cedar, so there is not much of a view from the kitchen itself. However, there is a trail to some rocks with a view, and a little east of camp there is a large white pine that would make an excellent hanging tree.
