I had trouble finding this site even though it is right where the map says it is. It is not obvious from the water at all. There is just a tiny opening in the trees where the landing is, and once I found it, the landing itself was grassy and very easy for pulling up the canoe.
The campsite is set back from the lake and is basically a clearing in the woods. It is very sheltered, but there is basically no view of the lake. Because it is so tucked in with very little breeze, I could see it getting buggy, but it would also be a good place to ride out a storm.
The main campsite area is very flat. I think three tents would fit comfortably, and possibly more. The transcript wording was a little unclear on the maximum, but the most reasonable reading is three good tent pads and four maximum tent pads.

A small narrow canoe landing. Not much cover, but does have a few cedars. There are 3 huge chairs/tables cut from a huge white pine that must've blowndown in '99. Has a small "field" for tent pads. One of the nicer sites on this end of the lake.
