This is an excellent campsite. The landing is fairly easy, with a shallow pull-in spot where you can get out and pull the canoe up onto land. You cannot really parallel park, but it is still simple and functional.
There are three good tent pads, and you might be able to fit a fourth tent if needed. The tent pads are flat and large enough for most tents.
The kitchen is tucked behind a big rock formation, so the fire grate area is somewhat protected. You can climb up and over the rock formation to reach what I would call the front porch of the campsite.
That area has a great view, a mix of red and white pines, big boulders to sit on, and space for chairs or hammocks. It is too rocky for tents, but it is perfect for hanging out and enjoying the evening. Most of the trees around the campsite are red and white pines, giving it a classic Boundary Waters feel.
The main downside is that the site has clearly seen a lot of use, and I found quite a few small pieces of garbage around camp. Even with that, this is a great campsite.

This site offered a unique experience with an elevated viewing area of Knife Lake. My son and I climbed the hill to the east for a fun hike and epic views. The fire pit area was hidden from the best view, but we appreciated the rock formations blocking the wind.

Great site. Well set up kitchen/fire pit. Great terrace for lake views. Nice rock wall for shelves. Plenty of hanging sites. Steep trail to cliff above with panoramic view of South Arm. Landing so so.

Great campsite with a wonderful view of the South Arm. Latrine was magical - little close to one tent pad but it was covered. Landing not ideal, but site made up for it. The kitchen and fire bowl was a natural chimney, filtering smoke away from those enjoying camp fire. Black Bear spotted hanging around the site. Chased away, did not see it for the rest of the time there. Bear bag hanging was difficult, but made it happen.
