This is a smaller site, but it is still decent. The landing is pretty easy, with a shallow gravel opening where you can pull up the canoe and bring it up a slight incline. From there, you walk almost directly into the kitchen area. The campsite is small and sits around a rock formation on a rocky peninsula.
The fire grate is back at the base of the peninsula, and from the kitchen there is a narrow but beautiful view down the east end of Knife Lake. The tent pads are behind the kitchen. They are somewhat rocky and lumpy in places, but I would call them two good tent pads and two maximum tent pads.
The tents would be close together because there is not much room to spread out. The fire grate did not have seating when I visited, so this may be a bring-your-own-chair site. Even though the site is small, it is a beautiful little spot, especially if you walk out onto the rock peninsula for the view. There are a few white pines, some younger white pines, and spruce around the site.

We base camped out of this site for 5 days. It is a compact campsite, but held 4 of us (3 tents) ok. Has an amazing view of the lake and large rock feature out into the water that was very nice for water access.

Small site, good landing. Best thing about this site is that it has a rock hill behind it that is easy to climb and able to get cell phone service to be able to get a quick phone call out and a few text messages. Great stop for quick call and lunch. Also great views from the top.
