Spent 8 days on this island on Snowbank. A group of 9 left as my group of 2 arrived. While there are a lot of spaces for tent pads, there is a low spot that will fill with water during a rain storm. The primary tent pad area is very well sheltered from northern and western winds. The island is small but spacious enough for some light exploring, with a few surprises. The cove to the north is pretty, and you can get nice sunset views on the west side. There is a lot of dead wood available. The site is grassy, with tall grasses around the campfire area. Fishing is great, with sharp drop-offs after a shallow grade, just be careful on the rocks. Water visibility is insane, some of the clearest water I've seen in the BWCA. Will return to this lake and likely this island again.
