This site is extremely spacious. We were a group with 2 tents and we were debating between 4 locations for the tent pads, but easily could have fit more. The kitchen area was very well built up, and thoughtfully done. Nice sand landing.
I can't say how lucky we were to end up here. We were on our way out from doing a loop, and had planned on staying on disappointment, but were disappointed as all sites were taken on the lake-- until we got here and we realized that it was a blessing in disguise. This made for a great place to stay the last night before heading to the Snowbank public water access.

Spacious Site and well protected. Good bass fishing on the SE bays off of spinners leaches. Northern visable along the north side but to windy to fish from the canoe. One of the Top 3 sites from 8 trips to the BWCA. Nice sand access for landing canoes and swimming.

This was a thank God it was open site that turned out to be great. Level, nice kitchen, western exposure. Good grumper views. We left at first light from Alice planning on stopping on Absub or Disappointment. Every site taken and it was a nothing but headwind day. Two of took one canoe and one bag and ran down the portage from Disappointment to Parent and claimed the site with the one backpack, then paddled back to portage trail and claimed the other 7 in our group. This was a great site and we were alone on the lake.
