This island actually has two separate campsites that are connected with a trail. Both have flat tent spots and usable fire pits. The campsites are found on the east side of the island, so this is a better campsite, when compared to the peninsula campsite approximately 500 m to the west, if there are strong west winds. The 5 star peninsula campsite further west is exposed to the west wind.
