This is a beautiful peninsula campsite on a large rock outcrop that survived the last forest fire so many green trees to hand a kitchen tarp from. It has two well constructed fire pits on the north and south side of the peninsula. The only downside is the exposure to the wind from any direction except west. The trees are not dense enough to block it. I lucked out with calm weather so it did not matter to me. If I had more time I would have base camped here.
