This campsite burned in the last forest fire (2015?) but the re-growth is coming back and is now waist high. The area is open rock outcrop that gently slopes down to the lake so many spots to lay out a tent. But no big trees to hang a tarp from. The fire pit is still there, but it has not been used in many years. I still like this spot....just don't camp here if it is windy. Very exposed.
