I was paddling east up the Bloodvein River and stopped here for lunch. This area burned in 2021, so this peninsula is wide open with no wind breaks. It has a nice fire pit and a few stacked rock sculptures, so people are using it. If you need a campsite with better protection and green trees, it is worth the paddle into the island campsite on Barclay Lake.
