The best of the Horseshoe Lake sites, this one has a great rock slab by the water, good swimming, and several rock seating spots with a nice southward view. There are a couple solid pads, one of which is well shielded by some cedars that survived the fire. A pine also survived that makes for a good bear hang. I really enjoyed this site and lake, but I think an objective rating would be a 3.

Didn't stop in, so I don't have a true review of the site, but we did see it and can confirm that it does look serviceable. The site is actually out on the point to the south of the coordinates now amidst two or three trees that didn't burn. Didn't look like too bad of a site.
