Not that impressed to be honest. Very open and unprotected from the elements so only viable on a clear, calm day.

I stayed here overnight and really liked this spot. It was last burned in 2018, but the trees that came down were not big and easy to move. The standing dead won't kill you if they fall over when you are camping. Access is found on the northwest side of the peninsula. Nice swim spot. It has a large fire ring with a bonus of some cut firewood. This would be good for a large group to spread out.
