I was paddling southeast in 2026 and took the time to camp here. I only stayed for one night. I love this campsite and could have based camped for a few days. Lots of room to roam around with low sloping granodiorite outcrop making for nice swimming holes. This side of the lake did not burn in the last forest fire, so many green trees to hang a kitchen tarp from. Very nice and usable fire pit if you want to cook from it. Sadly...I had a fire ban in place so could not use it. There were a few knocked over jack pines, so I cleaned that up and added to the firewood pile.
