Stayed here for 3 nights with my wife and 17 month old daughter. Pleasantly surprised by how quiet it was - couldn't hear or see any other campsites or the portage. The fire grate is atop a rock outcropping, and the tent area is set back in a huge clearing in the trees. You could easily put at least 3 large tents on flat ground. There are also plenty of trees for hammocks. The canoe landing is a little rocky but decent.

Decent landing - you can park on a little grave/sand space or use one of the smooth rocks in front of the site. The kitchen is open with a good view of the water. Most of the tent pads are down a path back in the woods in a shaded clearing. There are a few hammock-hanging options. We had one tent and one hammock, and both fit nicely in the tent pad area. Nice swimming area. Overall, a nice site, and I am glad that we were able to stay here.

Beautiful site! Landing is ok, great view of lake #2. Multiple tent pads, 2 fire areas, latrine is a little hike and was pretty full. Hard to find trees to hang food, but we made due. Great hammock trees.
