In 2023, I stopped here for lunch, but I have stayed here overnight in the past. I love this spot. Not burned during the last fire. Many large (but living, not widow makers) jack pine. Easy granite slope up off the lake to a large fire pit with the tent spots sheltered in the back. Reminds me of the better Quetico camp sites. The only downside is that Donald Lake has an outpost cabin and private cabins on it, so you might see fishing motor boats that spoils the seclusion. I did the day I paddled through.
