This is a 5 star campsite and would fall into my top 5 in WCPP. It was not burned in 2016, so many green trees to hang a kitchen tarp for shelter. Well constructed fire ring and many flat tent spots for a large group. The only downside for this campsite would be it is starting to get impacted from use and reminds me of the more popular campsites in Quetico Park. On the other hand, it is nice to see that paddlers are using WCPP. Best spot on Crystal Lake.....

I wish I would have looked harder for this site that we stayed on in 2004. Looking at my photos from the camp we did stay at, it doesn't look burned and is well worth a look in this area. I didn't realize this was where it was until I got home and started looking at my old photos compared to my new ones.

Burnt out from fire of 2016. Fire ring of stone is there, but not much else. No shelter. Ground is uneven, may be able to find a level spot for a single small tent.
