Beautiful site with a fantastic view. Easily fit 4 tents with nice level spots (Site might have been expanded since previous reviews). Good "parking spot" on north side to unload one canoe at a time. Large patch of healthy poison ivy on the rock climbing up to the kitchen area, but it was the only spot of poison ivy on the site. Overall one of our favorite sites on our 6-day trip!

Since it was September, bugs weren't an issue. We had a great view across the lake from the elevated site. Anyone going through the falls area passes through here, but the site itself is enough off the obvious travel route so folks aren't paddling right in front of the kitchen. The site faces east, so no direct sunset is visible, but watching the sun light up the opposite shore was just as pretty. The sunrise lighting up the morning fog was beautiful, too. This is a decent site to break up the passage through the falls, and definitely better than the sites further east of the upper falls.

Amazing site, we stayed for two nights. Easy entry on the north side, leads straight up to the tent pads to unload. Could easily fit four tents here. The kitchen has both sunny and shaded areas, and offers a great view at night. Nice deep water to jump into to from the rock face. Surprisingly little "traffic" coming through as well.
