great swim spots. good fishing from shore. protected tent sites despite being on an island. the views of east and west were great. we couldn't use the main fire pit due to blasting winds but the protected east side was perfect. only down was that our dog retrieved somebody's buried wipes. I think people don't realize wipes are plastic and don't biodegrade.

*2024 Update*: I finally camped over night at this a campsite after flying into Bulging Lake for the start of a 13 day solo trip. Love this campsite. It did not burn in the last few forest fires so many green trees to shelter in and hang a kitchen tarp. Well constructed fire ring with lots of cut dead fall to burn. The best landing is on the east side. Unfortunately with the last decade repeating forest fires, there are not many campsites left like this one in WCPP.

Other two nearby campsites are burned up with standing dead trees. This site is pretty nice, and is the only and best one we found on Bulging lake. Look no further.
