This campsite was badly burned in 2021, so many downed trees and tenting only on bare rock. Which is strange, since the island just to the southwest is green and did not burn. The moose antlers are still there. It has not been used since the fire...weeds growing in the fire pit. I am sure it was a great campsite (beautiful fire pit, log benches, close to water), but it will now take a few years for the trees to grow back and be usable again. I give it 1 star because of the fire pit and future potential. Paddle north to the other island campsite that was not burned in 2021.

A rather large and well-used site. Like many of the sites on Haven Lake it is getting an "overuse" vibe lately which is too bad. Many guided parties come through here and it's starting to show.
