I had time paddling north and the weather was calm, so I did a tour of north Haven Lake to check out all the campsites. This island was completely burned by the 2021 fire. I stopped here and got out to look around. I could only find an old fire pit and a few downed trees. The spots where the flat tents would have been are now covered up by post-fire saplings that are growing back thick and quick.
