Tough campsite, may have been hit hard with wind since the last review.
Originally wanted to stay on Haven for two days but very strong winds out of the SE made this site very exposed so we left after one night. One good tent pad, one rough one. Fire pit wasn't great, built around a mini swamp.
Can't speak to the rest of the sites on Haven - this site is do-able if needed although lower your expectations.

I last camped here in 2020 and stayed here again in 2025, and changed my mind about it. I now give it a 5 star rating. I would base camp here if I had the time. I have seen almost all of WCPP and know that many of the nice campsites have been burned and wrecked by the recent forest fires. This island somehow survived the last 2021 forest fire. Hard to find spots like this to bed down for the night. Just enough shelter by the green trees and a large well constructed fire pit.

Excellent site with easy access to/from canoe. The sunset view was spectacular. We did however pick up a number of ticks and only discovered them after performing a couple of tick checks. The island to the SE must have had a Ravens nest since a group of crows were squawking from sun up to sundown. Despite this, it was an excellent site.

One of the loveliest campsites I've stayed at in WCPP.
