*2024 Update*: I stopped and got out here on my way south. This campsite was wrecked by the 2021 fire. It is no longer usable. Tall grass and small sapling are growing back covering everything up. Unless there is a future wave of paddlers using WCPP, this might be lost to nature. One star because of fire pit..... 2020: Up high on a rock peninsula with a great view. Room for only one tent. Walk the trail south to the next campsite if you need more room. The landing is on the east side and is steep. Firepit has log benches and good trees to set up a kitchen tarp. Perfect for solo trippers or one canoe.

Great view from a north-facing point, room for only one tent. Good (but small) kitchen area. Landing on the east side is mostly blocked by fallen pine tree. 3 stars
