I camped here again in 2024 and love this site. I give it 5 stars. It survived the 2021 fire and there is not anything better further west, if that is the way you are going. Two tent pads up from the shore into the forest that can fit more than one tent and is nicely sheltered from the wind. Many trees to make a kitchen tarp shelter. The fire ring / kitchen down by the lake is nicely built and perfect for campfire cooking. I seen most of WCPP and this ranks in the top 5 of my campsite list. Please keep it clean....

This was a bit of a bushy site, not much room for our 3 tents but it worked.

Good site by WCPP standards but not world-class. To get two tents in, they would need to be no more than medium sized and side-by-side. Third tent pad possible but lumpy, and more exposed. Fire area out in the open, so nice views; conversely, it is exposed in poor conditions. Caught walleye from shore. Close to burn but this island was spared. Decent landing and swimming.
