This campsite is actually located east of this spot, on the east side of the eastern most island. I had a strong west wind late in the day so was thankful for finding this spot. It is found on top of a rock outcrop. The positives are, it has a nice fire pit, flat for tenting, and a nice view to the east. The only downside is that it is very small. If you want to make a campfire, you would have to wait to set up your tent. Not much spacing between the fire pit and tent spot. This could be expanded with a chainsaw to cut out a fallen large jack pine.
